Verify your company size now!

To ensure fair competition, ECHA has to check the size of the companies who have registered as SMEs and who as such are eligible for REACH and CLP fee rebates. If a company incorrectly registers as an SME, ECHA will require the company to pay the fee applicable to its revised size. In addition, an administrative charge for an incorrect SME registration will be levied soon.

If you realise that you have incorrectly identified your company as an SME, you can find instructions on how to correct this on ECHA's SME web pages.
Please note that ownership, voting rights and relationships with other companies contribute to determining a company size. Also, Only Representatives must indicate the size of the company they represent and not their own size.

Over the last few months, ECHA has made available manuals and an IT tool to enable companies to prepare dossiers that can automatically be made public on the internet without revealing confidential business information. ECHA will therefore no longer communicate with companies before making information on their substance available on its website. More
