REACH-IT


This section of the website provides information on how to use the REACH-IT application via the portal and how to submit data to ECHA.
It is divided into the following pages:

Portal

The REACH-IT portal is the main channel for companies to submit data to ECHA.

REACH-IT is continuously available during the week from Monday 08:00 to Friday 19:00 (Eastern European Standard Time, GMT + 2).

The system is not available during weekends, public holidays and scheduled maintenance breaks.

Company Sign-up

Before submitting data to ECHA you must sign-up and create an account for your company in REACH-IT. This is the starting point for any data submission to ECHA.
It applies both to pre-registrations and to submissions carried out for PPORD notifications, inquiries and registrations.

Late Pre-registration

The pre-registration period is now over and the pre-registration functionality in REACH-IT has been disabled.
If your company starts manufacturing or importing over 1 tonne or more of a phase-in substance per year, after 1 December 2008, you can benefit from late pre-registration provisions, provided that certain conditions are fulfilled.

PPORD

You may be exempted from the obligation to register the quantity of your substance which is subject to product and process oriented research and development (PPORD). In this case you need to submit a PPORD notification to ECHA.

Inquiry

Inquiry is the process by which every potential registrant of a non phase-in substance (or a phase-in substance which has not been pre-registered) must inquire to ECHA whether a registration has already been submitted for the same substance.

Request a registration number for a notified substance under Directive 67/548/EEC

All notified substances under NONS are considered already as being registered under the REACH regulation. According to article 24 of the REACH regulation, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) assigned registration numbers to all notifications made in accordance with Directive 67/548/EEC. To claim your registration numbers, you first have to sign up in REACH-IT to allow the identification of your company.
